Quality Control Software Timeware Software are pleased to
announce the release of their "Quality Control" system. Continuing
their drive to develop industry standard software Timeware Software
are issuing a free trial version of the software to NHS Radiology departments
to examine and use. It includes a fully featured system, on-line help
and on-screen tutorials. A recent survey revealed that the extent and frequency of checking of x-ray equipment was very variable, as was the adequacy of corrective procedures after faults were identified. As a result representatives from the College of Radiographers, the Health and Safety Executive, the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine and the National Radiological Protection Board detailed the necessary checks in the "Recommended Standards for the Routine Performance Testing of Diagnostic X-ray Imaging Systems". Legally, employers have direct responsibility for ensuring that equipment used in connection with medical exposures is maintained, so as to be capable of delivering doses that are as low as reasonably practicable in a clinical context. "All X-ray imaging equipment should be subject to regular performance checks which, if necessary, should lead to appropriate corrective action or replacement." Using the Timeware Software
Quality Control System you can maintain comprehensive and accurate results
in a fast and easy manner, thereby removing the need for time-consuming
and complicated manual records, and at the same time providing assurance
to management and audit that all the necessary control procedures are
in place and maintained. Fully featured software
On-screen tutorials To help you use the system
immediately we have included full on-screen audio-visual tutorials.
These will provide you with videos and a complete running commentary
on how to use the system. In addition we have also included on the CD
the full manuals in word 97 format (Other formats on request). Equipment details Basic equipment details are recorded in including manufacturer, model and serial numbers, call reference, service interval and equipment status. Tests and results All individual tests for a piece of equipment are recorded along with the frequency, the next test date, the person or organisation responsible and acceptable results. Thus satisfying the questions "what, who, when and how ". Complete histories of every test’s results are recorded and can be exported to Excel to provide a graphical view of the results. Maintenance All maintenance visits for every piece of equipment are recorded, including the details of work required and the results of the visit. Services Detailed descriptions of all services can be recorded for any piece of equipment, along with any certificates issued. Contract Multiple service and maintenance contracts can be assigned to any piece of equipment, the full details of the contract can be viewed easily, ensuring you call the correct supplier first time without reference to manual records. Appointments All service and maintenance visits are recorded in a diary allowing the user to see quickly and easily all appointments by date, type, equipment or supplier. Suppliers All supplier company details can be recorded along with as many contact points required. Contracts Contract details are recorded individually. Each piece of equipment is individually assigned to a contract, or contracts, thereby ensuring minimum data input and dynamic of up-to-date contract details. Requirements The tables recording test details identify each individual test and their pass and fail levels. A set of data is included with the system this can be added to or amended according to the individual users requirements. Users You can create your own user names and have complete control of the user access to individual sections of the system. Hospitals and Locations You can identify your own organisation’s structure thereby ensuring reports are produced in the order you require. Equipment type, priority and expertise levels Data tables have already been created for equipment types, priority levels and expertise levels date you may add to or amend them as required. On-line help Comprehensive help is provided throughout the system and is context sensitive, ensuring that wherever you are within the system whenever you call for help the appropriate information will be displayed. Timeware Software Timeware software is staffed
by professional programmers with many years experience supplying bespoke
software to the NHS. The technical support department is manned only
by qualified programmers, thereby ensuring any queries you raise or
developments you request are discussed immediately by an expert.
